We believe that putting people first is the key to a successful program and getting long-term results. Everyone is different, and everyone deserves the right support & guidance tailored to their own journey. We want to take the time to know WHO you are before we start working on what you can do.

We're not into quick fixes, because they often don't work very well. We're in it for the long game play, to be fit and strong for life. That means understanding the HOW & WHY behind what we're doing so we can carry those principles with us through life.

STRENGTH & MOVEMENT ARE ESSENTIAL

The ability to move and move well is an essential part of staying strong for life, and enjoying life where you are today. Whether you're 70 years young or 20 years old, your quality of life is largely determined by what your body can handle. Our aim is to simply help our Tribe unlock their potential so they can do what they love in life without limitation or pain.

SAM

Co-Founder | Head Coach 

Business Development & Operations

Sam has an extensive background in a wide range of strength & movement disciplines including bodybuilding, Crossfit, powerlifting and gymnastics. With a passion for excellence and understanding Sam is committed to understanding how the human body functions and how to apply these learnings to his clients. Sam handles most of the day-to-day operations at The Peoples Gym as well as exploring how we continue to grow and help more people. 

  • Bachelor of Human Sciences, Major in Human Movement

  • ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning

  • Mentoring experience with a range of strength & movement coaches

JOEL

Co-Founder | Head Coach 

Programming & Culture

Joel brings a wealth of experience to the team with an extensive background in various sports, yoga, flexibility, Ju-Jitsu & strength practices. With an eagerness to learn and grow constantly Joel is dedicated to helping his clients in any way he can. Joel handles most of the programming, including our group class programming & makes sure that we are looking after our Tribe wherever we can.

  • ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning

  • 200 Hour Yoga Teaching Certificate

  • Extensive mentoring under some of the best flexibility coaches globally

Coach

Cam has an extensive background coaching both in the US & Australia, including his time as a competitive physique athlete. He is passionate about helping people find a rhythm and routine, and does it through an infectious level of positivity.
